Layer 7 Penetration Testing is the only way to ensure that your organisations security policy and associated solutions are actually securing your assets . A full penetration test can also provide peace of mind that your organisation is not exposed to adverse business risks.
1. External or Perimeter Penetration Testing
During this test we will not only look at your external facing services from a vulnerability assessment perspective but should the terms of engagement allow we will actively test any found vulnerabilities in much the same way a would be attacker would attempt to breach the external perimeter of your networks.
2. Internal Penetration Testing
An internal scan can be conducted in a number of ways either by having an accredited Layer 7 team member on site to perform a full security audit or alternatively we can provide an appliance to routinely test your internal networks , there are a number of security breaches that can arise from inside an organisations infrastructure ranging from information theft, through to industrial espionage.
3. Social Engineering
During this test should the terms of engagement allow then nothing is off limits with regards to testing the security posture of the organisation, activities during this test will obviously include a full external and internal test but also elements from other aspects of the ethical hacking arena such as social engineering, wireless network attacks, plus others.
